TUPAC Shakur's 'secret' wife has told how they married in a jailhouse ceremony while he was serving time for sex crimes.
The bad boy star tied the knot with Keisha Morris in 1995 after a whirlwind romance while he was still dating Madonna.
Tupac had already released his first two hit albums and had starred in the movies "Juice" and "Poetic Justice."
He was also at the centre of a life-changing personal drama as he was facing charges of sexual abuse and possession of a firearm.
Shakur was later found guilty of the sex abuse charge and sentenced to four and a half years in prison, of which he served 10 months.
At the time he was still dating Keisha and the two decided to wed behind bars at New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility.
His impending marriage may also be the real reason he split with fellow star Madonna - whom he was also dating at the time.
It has been reported Shakur broke off his 18 month-long fling with Madonna in January 2015 because she was white.
In a startling prison letter, the tragic rapper told the Queen of Pop their relationship was becoming bad for his gangsta image.
However, at the time he was already dating Keisha. They married just four months after he wrote the letter.
Tupac and Keisha's short-lived union was annulled after 10 months later but they remained in contact up until his murder a year later.
She speaks about her marriage to the legendary rapper in a in the US overnight.
She told XXL Magazine they met at a club in New York and then continued to see each other on and off for a while.
The self-confessed 'good girl' decided to stay with the rapper through his court ordeal even though he warned her off.
Keisha said: "He told me 'everything I touch, I damage, I don’t want you to be involved in any of this. I don’t wanna hurt you.'”
However she decided to stay by his side and he proposed just before he was jailed.
The pair tied the knot four months into his sentence on April 29, 1995.
Keisha said: "(For him) it was more like, “I want people to take you seriously and let them know that you’re my wife.
"His thing was he wanted a visit every day, so he could get outta that cell. It was hard. It was such a dramatic process.
"If I wasn’t able to be there, I would make sure that someone else was there."
However, despite her dedication things soon went wrong when the rapper was released from jail.
Keisha revealed: "Things were getting very different once he got bail, and I felt like I wasn’t needed anymore.
"It wasn’t a good feeling. I just felt like, wow, okay, it was over. Like, Okay, I don’t need you anymore. I’m getting out. That’s it."

However Keisha and Tupac remained friends up until his tragic death in a gun attack in Las Vegas.
"We were still friends up until the day," Keisha said.
Keisha was even with Tupac in New York the day before he was gunned down in an unsolved drive-by shooting.
