Pornhub star Stormy Daniels was threatened with ‘physical harm’ over Donald Trump sex claims, her lawyer says
A PORN star who claimed she had sex with Donald Trump before he became President has been threatened with physical harm, according to her lawyer.
Stormy Daniels is trying to overturn a secrecy deal she signed days before the 2016 election so she can reveal bombshell details about their alleged affair - which she said began in 2006.
Her lawyer Michael Avenatti has already hinted she could release "sex texts and videos" to prove they had a fling.
Lawyers for Trump claim Daniels - whose real name is Stephanie Clifford - could owe more than £14m in damages for violating the agreement.
However, the x-rated star's attorney Avenatti, told The Associated Press his client had now been "physically threatened," but he didn't provide details.
He would also not comment on whether the alleged threats came from anyone tied to the President, the Trump campaign or the Trump Organization.
Daniels - whose videos have become huge hits on Pornhub - will discuss the situation during a segment on CBS' "60 Minutes," which is scheduled to air later this month.
Avenatti said he was confident that people would believe her after watching her interview.
"There's the act and there's the cover-up, and the American people are going to learn about both in the interview and beyond," the lawyer said during an interview with MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Friday.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters she had no knowledge of the situation and hadn't spoken with the President about it.
There is no evidence that the President is connected in any way to the alleged threats.

But, she said, "obviously we take the safety and security of any person seriously" and "certainly would condemn anyone threatening any individual."
Sanders said last week that Trump has "made very well clear that none of these allegations are true."
Daniels filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles last week that sought to invalidate the agreement so she could "set the record straight" and has offered to return the £100,000 she was paid for agreeing not to discuss the relationship.
