Britain’s top businesswoman Lady Barbara Judge, 71, caught in ‘racist and sexist abuse’ storm
The first chairwoman of the Institute of Directors is said to have claimed 'blacks can get aggressive' and made slurs about a pregnant member of staff
THE future of one of the UK’s top businesswomen hung in the balance last night after she was accused of a catalogue of racist and sexist abuse.
Lady Barbara Judge, 71, the first chairwoman of the Institute of Directors, was awaiting the outcome of talks by the group’s bosses on her future.
It follows the leaking of a draft report detailing 41 allegations against Lady Judge, who is said to have claimed “blacks can get aggressive” and made slurs about a pregnant member of staff.
It is also alleged that she bullied her assistant and reduced her to tears.
A source said: “I was once told that she’s the type of person to leave a horse’s head in your bed.
“She is not to be messed with but obviously has great experience and knowledge.”
