The victim of the horrific smash suffered life-changing injuries, including fractures to her face and skull, but says the driver basically got away with it 'scot-free'

THE horror moment a woman was slammed across a footpath and into a concrete post by a reckless driver has been captured on CCTV.

Beverley Finney from St Helens in Merseyside was left with life-changing injuries when she was propelled into the pillar after driver Henry Rigby lost control of the car and spun 180 degrees, hitting her and another pedestrian on the pavement.

Rigby admitted failing to attend community service appointments and, avoiding prison, was given 15 hours of additional unpaid work told to pay £102 court costs.

: "I wanted him to get something for what he did to me. He’s never received any punishment.

"I’m scarred for life and he’s walking the streets with no repercussions for what he did.
