Tragic Maisie Duncan's twin Charlie is 'lost and lonely' after the tragic death of his sister in Looe, Cornwall
A DEVASTATED mum has made a heartbreaking plea for the twin of a girl killed in a crash - asking "Anyone want to play with Charlie?"
Maisie Duncan, seven, died when a vehicle hit her and crashed into a house as she was playing in snow in Looe, Cornwall, last Thursday.
Her grieving parents Abbi Peat, 24, and Joe Duncan, 26, have paid an emotional tribute to "the most beautiful, caring, kind, smart, perfect" daughter.
Abbi appealed for friends to play with Maisie's twin brother Charlie who is a "a bit lonely and lost and misses his sister a lot".
She said: "I love you Maisie sleep tight mummy and daddy love you forever and always.
"Forever going on a bear hunt.
"There's no need to imagine that you're a wondrous beauty, because that's what you are.
The heartbroken parents also thanked locals for sharing memories of Maisie.
Abbi added: "I can't thank the community of Looe and Polperro enough.
"The wonderful messages and shared memories have brought so much comfort in the darkest time of mine and Joe's lives.
"The thought that my amazing Maisie will forever be remembered in all your hearts brings some kind of joy to all this sorrow.
"Joe and I haven't had a chance to open all the messages because there have just been so many but we want everyone to know not one message has gone unnoticed.
"I want to say a special thank you to my family and Rachel Fletcher and Lianne Oakley - my rocks.
"My little Charlie is a bit lonely and lost about what's going on and he misses his sister a lot so anyone who wants to come play with Charlie let me know.
"Looe and Polperro you have been a comfort blanket to us and we just can't show enough appreciation we love you all."
The young girl was fatally injured when a car crashed into a house in the Cornish port town, which was in the eye of Storm Emma when it hit last Thursday afternoon.
Police said no arrests have been made as inquiries continue into the crash.
Maisie's great aunt, Cornwall Councillor for Looe Edwina Hannaford, said: "We are heartbroken.
"Our Maisie was a ray of sunshine in our lives, a beautiful princess who was loved by all who met her.
"We have however found comfort in the many messages of support we have received and small but very welcome acts of kindness.
"As a family, with the help of our friends and the community, we will support Abbi, Joe and Maisie’s twin Charlie through the grieving so we heal; so we can remember with love rather than pain."
A crowdfunding page launched by friends to help Maisie's family has already reached nearly £12,000 in donations from almost 700 people,
