Flood warnings in the UK today – which areas are going to be affected by flooding?
STORM Erik is threatening to batter the country for a second day, as the wind gust will speed up to 70mph.
But which areas will be affected and will you get caught in a flood? Here's everything you need to know.
What flood warnings are in place today?
The Environment Agency currently has 40 flood alerts in place across the UK.
The alerts, which warn that "flooding is possible", are in areas across the south west, southern England and north west England.
Residents in the following areas are advised to "be prepared" for large amounts of standing water:

Weather forecast experts have warned Brits that dangerous winds with speeds of up to 70mph are set to rip through the UK today - before snow showers strike later on during the week.
The Met Office has also issued yellow weather warnings for strong gales as Storm Erik threatens to batter the country for a second day.
Wintry showers will affect northern England and Scotland today - ahead of an inch-and-a-half of snowfall in parts of the region on Sunday, according to weather forecasters.
The storm's strongest recorded gust on Friday was 84 mph at Capel Curig, in Wales, the Met Office said.
