STEALING THE SHOW

Body language expert reveals Meghan is a ‘leader’ and ‘scene stealer’ around Kate

The future sisters-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle appeared together during their first joint official engagement but a body language expert has revealed what was REALLY going on

WHILE both Kate and Meghan were all smiles at their first joint official engagement today, a body language expert has revealed the actress is a 'leader' and 'scene stealer' around Kate.

Judi James told The Sun Online that while the future sisters-in-law mirrored some gestures during the first annual Royal Foundation Forum earlier today in London, they are already defining themselves - and their marriages - as very different.

Judi says: "Kate adopts a calmer, more measured approach that mirrors her husband while Meghan's 'hit-the-ground-running' passion and confidence make her the much more active performer and scene-stealer.

"Kate sat back in her seat with a demure hand clasp that showed a slight 'tell' of anxiety with some finger-fiddling when both Meghan and her husband spoke.

"She and William used very similar hand gestures to make their points; they hold their hands apart in an evaluation and measuring gesture that suggests careful, measured thinking behind their points."

But Judi says Harry and Meghan are more 'energetic,' with the actress adopting a leadership position.

She continues: "Harry and Meghan are far more energetic and spontaneous-looking, speaking with passion and both using matching emphatic hand gestures to get their points and views across.

"Meghan's upright posture and one arm on the chair formed a semi-splay that suggested hints of leadership in her clear desire to get things done.

"Unlike William and Kate who look calm in terms of action Meghan's delivery suggests urgency and some impatience to make change.

But despite the personality differences, the royals are showing 'strong family ties'

However, despite the differences in personality, Judi says the family are 'embracing' the former Suits star.

"Beneath all this though was a look of strong family ties that do seem to be embracing Meghan.

"Harry's humour is still contagious and when the group spoke about 'disagreements' there was some cut-off face-covering form Kate and Meghan but suggestions that the quartet will be founded on battles as well as humour."
