Police are hunting two masked suspects after Marks & Spencer staff were herded into the food hall and bound during a knifepoint robbery
THE moment Marks & Spencer staff were bound with cable ties during a frightening knifepoint robbery has been caught on CCTV.
Police are hunting the two masked raiders following the incident on November 27 2017 at the Mill Hill store in North West London.
Just before 6.30am, two suspects entered the store and herded staff into an area of the food hall.
One suspect, armed with a knife, tied up staff using cable ties while the second masked suspect took a staff member to the tills.
The CCTV shows the second suspect towering over the staff member as she was forced to open the tills so he could take the cash.
After stealing £200 from the store, the pair then escaped through the rear doors, walking along The Broadway towards Hale Lane and Bunns Lane.
Detective Constable Dan Levy, of Barnet CID, said: "This was a frightening experience for store staff at the scene.
"The suspects put the victims in a brief, but highly threatening situation in order to steal £200. It is very important that we identify and apprehend these suspects as quickly as possible and I urge anyone who knows them or has information to come forward."
