Twenty men arrested over woman’s claim she was sexually abused as a child

TWENTY men have been arrested over a woman’s claim she was sexually abused as a child.

Suspects aged between 28 and 43 were held in a series of swoops by police in West Yorkshire.

Searches have taken place at properties in Calderdale and Kirklees.

The alleged abuse took place between 2006 and 2009 in the Halifax area.

Two suspects have been released on police bail. The others were released pending further inquiries.
