Friends of male model who was knifed in ‘robbery gone wrong’ hail him as an ‘amazing young man’

A TALENTED male model hailed an "absolute icon" by devastated pals was tragically stabbed to death during a suspected robbery gone wrong.
Harry Uzoka, 25, staggered to find help after being knifed in the chest and was later found slumped on the pavement in Acton, West London, yesterday.
The rising star was on the books with top London agency Premier Model Management, which launched the careers of Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
Tributes have flooded in Harry, who has appeared on billboards in the UK and US and was also signed with Next Models agency in LA.
Heartbroken pals have also left floral tributes at the scene.
One person wrote on Twitter: "Harry Uzoka was an absolute icon. He became a household name in the modelling industry, he set the bar for British, black male models.
Model Jourdan Dunn tweeted: "Wow.... I just woke up to the news about Harry Uzoka. Rest in paradise young king."
Essex-based hip hop artist known as Cally the Dreamer told the : “He went my school, was a few years below.
“He was a lad that I admired, changed his life for the better and inspired many to do better.
“Amazing young man with so much life a big loss to the world. A great human, prayers go out to his family.”
London fashion brand Yemzi tweeted: "Such a special soul."
While photographer Philipp Raheem said: "Rest well young king".
Harry's modelling career included work with British magazine Hunger and fashion brands Everlane and Bershka.
Hunger Magazine tweeted: "We are beyond shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of model Harry Uzoka. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP."
Paramedics battled to save Harry's life after he was stabbed at around 4pm yesterday but sadly he couldn't be saved.
Police cordoned off the surrounding streets following the stabbing and staff at a nearby school were forced to keep students insides as cops hunted the killer.
Two men aged 27 and 28 were later arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.
Met Police detective inspector Beverley Kofi said: "This is another tragic murder with a young male victim who has met a violent death.
"We believe that the incident started outside Ollgar House, in Ollgar Close and the victim was assaulted and stabbed before staggering and collapsing in Old Oak Road.

"We believe there were a number of people involved, but we are still working to establish the circumstances and a possible motive.
"We have made two arrests and continue to pursue a number of lines of inquiry. We need to public’s help to piece together what happened - who the victim was seen with, the incident itself and the immediate aftermath.
"If you were in the area at the time and saw anything that could be of significance to the investigation, we would urge you to get it touch right away."
Premier Model Management did not wish to comment.
