A COUPLE were subjected to a furious tirade of abuse when they innocently tried to park outside a friend's house.
Ben Moody, 25, and girlfriend Harley Clarke, 21, were told to "f*** off" by an abusive resident of the road in Reading - despite the pair having permission to park there.
A woman asks the couple if they are permit holders and they reply they are getting one as they're staying the night at a friend's.
But their answer doesn't seem to satisfy the residents, with a man walking angrily round the front of the car to quiz them some more.
Ben and Harley again explain they are visiting someone - but the man simply replies: "No, please move."
When Harley leaves the car to go and fetch the permit from friend Andrew, the man says: "Go and get f***ing Andrew then."
Despite driving instructor Ben trying to calm the situation by explaining Harley was only trying to help, the angry man stands his ground.
He said: "I'm gonna wait. I am legally within my right to wait until you get a parking permit."
As the situation becomes more and more abusive, the man appears to take photos of Ben's car before being reminded that Ben has the incident on camera if he intends to complain to the council.
Ben then asks why the man couldn't park further down and the question provoks a furious response.
The man replied: "Cos we f***ing live here you p****."
"Will you f***ing shut the f*** up and f*** over there."
Shockingly, he then adds: "I'm in the mood for a punch-up."
Speaking after the event, Ben said: "Harley has problems walking so I always try and get parking close to wherever we are going.
"The first parking spot I found was a little tight so I turned around and went to find another spot, I just so happened to park outside the guy's house."
