Model Olga Semenova claimed she and Arshavin were among a group of friends enjoying dinner together
FORMER Arsenal star Andrey Arshavin's wife allegedly threatened to chop a stunning model's fingers off after she was pictured cosying up to the footballer.
Alisa Arshavina, 35, allegedly contacted Olga Semenova online after she was filmed with Arshavin, 36, at a restaurant in Kazhakstani city Almaty.
The model stressed that she and Arshavin were among a group of friends enjoying dinner together and she had not expected "an innocent game" would have such consequences.
Arshavin, who now plays for Almaty side FC Kairat in Kazakhstan’s Premier League, was filmed with his arms wrapped around the model's waist.
Ms Semenova claimed Alisa messaged her online after the video was posted on social media, and asked her what she was doing with her husband.
The model also claimed Alisa said she would arrange for the Federal Security Service (FSB) to have her jailed for false charges of drug possession, after allegedly threatening to chop her fingers.
Ms Semenova said: "After a while she introduced herself as a member of the FSB (while using the same account).
"She believes that everybody in Almaty throws themselves on her husband."
Mrs Arshavina also reportedly warned Ms Semenova that she would be coming to Kazakhstan soon.
Ms Semenova added: "Nobody has a right to humiliate me this way, insult me and, even more, threaten me with punishment. I earn well and lead a healthy lifestyle."
She says she is planning to raise the issue with police in Almaty and with sporting authorities.
Arshavin married Alisa after divorcing his first wife Julia Baranovskaya in 2013 after a nine-year marriage that produced three children.
