Princess Diana’s astrologer reveals she saw the US in Prince Harry’s stars when he was six

PRINCESS DIANA was “thrilled” when she looked at Prince Harry’s astrological chart and picked up on a future connection with America.

Her son was only six at the time — decades before he met Californian Meghan Markle — but astrologer Debbie Frank says her royal client was convinced her son was destined to have a significant link to the US.

In an exclusive interview, Debbie has told how Diana, who became her friend and confidante, thought Harry could have made a “fantastic” king but worried about how the “naughty, mischievous” prince would conform to real life.

Debbie told us: “Diana would be so proud of the man Harry has become and of his relationship with Meghan.

“She loved looking at Harry’s and William’s charts. The boys made her happiest in her life.

“I remember meeting Harry one day at Kensington Palace.

"He was dressed as a policeman and playing with William. Harry was six.

“It was around the same time we saw America in his chart and Diana was thrilled with the link.

“We had no idea back then that he would be marrying Meghan.

"We thought he could be going to the US to university.

“Diana was so happy. She thought it may be Harvard.”

Diana felt the US was somewhere her boys could have fun when they got older, as it “appealed to their sense of adventure”.

Debbie added: “She told me how they had been to California and stayed in Goldie Hawn’s house.

“The boys loved it, they were happy there, but Diana found the US too much as they fawned over her all the time.

“I remember her saying, ‘I want the boys to be worldlier and know about life beyond this country’.

“She loved what America brought out in the boys because it was so modern and different.

"Because of their love for America it became one of their favourite places.”

Royal star signs: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

LEO is the sun sign of mega-watt Meghan, proving she was born to the regal role.

It is the royal sign and Meghan even has the same August 4 birthday as the late Queen Mother, Harry’s great-grandmother.

Princess Margaret was a Leo and so is Princess Anne, making for a strong triumvirate of royal Leo ladies.

Meghan’s Leo energy is a blast from the royal past, since in the next generation the celestial compass swung towards Cancer.

Princess Diana was Cancer and she gave birth to William, also Cancer, and his son Prince George is another Cancer. Camilla Parker Bowles is Cancer too.

Leos naturally take centre stage, play to the audience and wither without attention. They gravitate towards the showy side of life – everything needs to be special.

Their warmth is legendary and they know how to light up a room.

Famously generous, they also enjoy being pampered and looked after by an entourage – which Meghan can expect as she joins the exclusive royal circle in a major role.

The flip side of the sign is that they can tend towards grandiosity, prima donna tendencies and petulance if they are deprived of the attention they crave.

However, Meghan has some Cancerian qualities with her rising sign, so she can pick up on that sensitive, nurturing thread which Diana had too.

Harry is an earthy Virgo. He is more matter-of-fact and hands-on, making him great at doing walk-abouts as he feels at home with real people in the real world.

So what draws Harry and Meghan together?

Meghan’s Venus is in Virgo, the same sign as Harry’s sun, and Harry’s Venus is in Libra, where Meghan’s moon is placed.

This is very compatible and they can bring out the best in each other with these celestial connections.

Together they make a great team and have the makings of a really popular royal couple who will make a huge difference to the world with their shared vision of how to help those in need.

The new year begins dynamically, with a full moon on Meghan’s Mars followed by a mighty eclipse on January 31 on her Leo sun.

The months leading up to her birthday will be life-changing for Meghan.

Harry’s chart looks powerfully transformative for his personal life – as it should do.

Passionate Pluto aligned with his moon in Taurus suggests he is revelling in setting up home with his loved one and sharing his life completely with her.

Astrologer to the stars Debbie worked with Diana from 1989 up until her death in 1997 and says they often discussed the futures of the princes during phone calls and meetings in London restaurants.

Debbie recalled: “Diana would always have a giggle and a glint in her eye when she talked about Harry.

"She would say he was the naughty, mischievous, impish one with a fantastic sense of humour.

“She would be rueful about him and what was going to happen for Harry, and she knew he had all this energy and it was going to be hard for him to conform to real life.

“She said he was a handful. It amused her and she adored him.

“She enjoyed the fact he was able to break the rules even if she couldn’t.

"William was much more serious and very sensitive.”

Royal star signs: Prince William and Kate Middleton

THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have some heavy-duty aspects ahead, so the serious side of life is uppermost for both of them, indicating extra responsibilities across the board.

He is carving out the role that will define him for many years to come.

He may set up his own foundation, take on more charities and devote himself more fully to his life purpose in The Firm.

Capricorn Kate’s chart shows her life in transition from young woman to mature lady.

On January 9 she will turn 36, the age when Diana’s life was snuffed out, and the pressure is on to make a meaningful difference to the world.

Her third baby will add to an already busy family life in April, when Kate is likely to feel the pressure of tiredness and hard work.

She has challenges to face but perhaps some are so private we will not know about them.

She is at a turning point marking a profound change in terms of how she views her life and what role she plays.

It is a year of endings and beginnings. Even Meghan marrying Harry alters the framework for her.

Debbie said Harry and Diana liked being “normal” together, whether it was a visit to Wales on the train or going to Thorpe Park theme park in Surrey.

She added: “Being with normal folk and doing normal things was their perfect day out.

“On one of the last times we spoke over the phone, she said, ‘I hope Harry will do things his own way and be able to be out of the shadow of William’.

“By proposing to Meghan he has done that.

"One time she said to me that Harry would make a fantastic king because he was less anxious than William.

“She said it would suit him because he is quite immediate, more direct with people.

"He was only eight years old then.”

Royal star signs: Prince George and Princess Charlotte

AS change-bringer Uranus aspects George’s sun in Cancer and moon in Capricorn, 2018 is likely to be a volatile year for him.

He turns five on July 22 and a whole new world is opening up to him both at school and with the arrival of his new sibling in April.

As the eldest child he might be feeling the pressure to step up a gear and at the same time he may react against it.

As for 2017, it has brought him out of the Norfolk cocoon and he is experiencing a very different life.

Exciting as it is, Prince George will be under pressure to mature, especially in April.

Princess Charlotte is sun sign Taurus, like the Queen, and she too is going through a big time of transformation, turning three in May.

A new addition to the family repositions her as the middle child.

This will take some getting used to as Pluto angles her moon in 2018, bringing up a lot of feelings.

Nursery school may prove to be a saviour, as she is sociable and loves to mix with other people.

Diana asked Debbie to read the charts of both boys within the first year that they met.

The astrologer said: “William is so similar to her in the way they connect to people. Diana and Harry were both overtly affectionate.

“She kept checking to see if they were handling the divorce from Charles well.

"She would say that if Harry had his favourite activities to keep him busy he would be fine.”

At 33, Harry now has a wedding to plan with his 36-year-old fiancée.

Their big day is at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19 next year — a Saturday.

Considering royal weddings usually take place midweek, Debbie believes Diana would have been thrilled that her youngest son is bucking tradition.

She said: “Diana would think it’s a great choice to have it at such a lower-key venue as Windsor Castle.

“She’d think it just right for them and be proud that Harry is doing things his own way.

“The fact it’s on a Saturday is great.

"It’s him putting his stamp on things, as Diana would’ve loved.

“Diana was fed up with the Royal Family and their traditional mindset.

"She’d have thought marrying Meghan to be a great idea.

“She’d be so happy that he was getting to marry the person he wanted to marry, that Meghan is such a different person.

"She’d really admire Harry for bringing her in.”

Prince Harry says his mother, Princess Diana, would have been 'over the moon' about his engagement to Meghan Markle

Debbie can see some of Diana in the American, adding: “Meghan has a real sweetness and is a great talker.

"She gets people to connect and is incredibly articulate. In many ways she is a force to be reckoned with.

“She is so much like Diana in so many ways. Diana would relate to her. They’d be at total ease. She’d like Meghan’s warmth.

"She would’ve filled the gap in England that Meghan’s mum, who is thousands of miles away, could not.”
