Santa’s heartbreaking letter to boy, 6, after twin brother dies of rare tumour
Leo Barrett was facing his first Christmas without his brother when Father Christmas sent a note wishing him a happy festive season
FATHER Christmas wished a grieving six-year-old a Merry Christmas in a heartbreaking personal letter after the lad's twin brother died from a rare brain tumour.
Leo Barrett tragically lost his twin Zack earlier this year and faced his first Christmas as an only child.
When Leo and his family visited Zack's grave on Christmas Day the youngster found Santa had left him a note telling him both he and his brother were both on the nice list.
The letter addressed to Leo from Father Christmas, Mrs Claus and the elves read: “I have just dropped some presents to your amazing brother Zack... and I am on my way to your house.
“You are on the nice list this year, as is Zack, you have been such a good boy and worked so hard at school.
“Well done for being able to bring the BFG home...I know how hard you have worked with all your school work.”

The family, from Huddersfield, were left devastated when Zack was diagnosed with Diffuse Pontine Glioma (DPG).
DPG is a rare tumour that originates in an area of the brain stem called the pons, which is critical for bodily functions such as breathing and sleeping.
Zack passed away in July.
In October mum Katie announced that she is expecting a baby.
