Theresa May should play the wicked stepmother from Snow White, according to four in ten Labour voters.

But most Tories think the PM would be better suited as Cinderella – perhaps a hint that she could make it to the general election “ball” after all.

In an ICM poll for The Sun on Sunday, voters were asked which festive character key political figures most resemble.

Perhaps not surprisingly, both Tories and Labour supporters likened Chancellor Philip Hammond to Ebenezer Scrooge.

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson reminds one in five voters of Olaf, the jolly snowman from the Disney film Frozen.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn would make a good support actor for the PM in Snow White – as Grumpy from the Seven Dwarfs.
