Schoolboy Ryan Nicholson paid attention to detail by including Glasgow school's logo and address on forgery.
A SCHOOLBOY'S hilariously bad attempt to trick his parents into letting him skip school has gone viral.
Ryan Nicholson sent a forged letter to his parents pretending to be his teacher but there were some unfortunate giveaways.
However, he did show an eye for detail by including the address of his school in Glasgow as well as its logo.
But he came a cropper with a few grammatical mistakes that aroused his parents' suspicions.
He also didn't give a reason as to why his attendance wasn't required, reported .
The letter read: "Ryan does not need to come in next week.
"While school is on attendance will not be recorded.
"He can come in but but staying off will not affect his attendance."
His sister Amy, from the Easterhouse area of the Scottish city, shared a photo of the letter on Facebook.
