Sun readers have helped our appeal raise £100,000 for kids with cancer
Generous Sun readers helped us break six figures, including one anonymous £20,000 gift - helping patients’ families stay for free at one of CLIC Sargent's vital Homes From Home
OUR Smiles At Christmas appeal has now raised more than £100,000 for child cancer patients.
Generous Sun readers helped us break six figures, including one anonymous £20,000 gift.
Sun parent News UK and Morrisons also gave £25,000 each to help fund kids’ cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
Patients’ families can stay for free at one of their vital Homes From Home, including CLIC House in Bristol.
We threw a party there with a magician and Santa thrilling 40 child patients.
Lia Bull, four, who has survived liver cancer, said: “This is such a fun party.”
Jaimie Brown, in remission from leukaemia, said: “I am having a lovely time. Thank you.”
Ann Grady, 53, helps run the home after daughter Molly-Ann, three, died of neuroblastoma on Christmas Day 2005. She said: “Every penny given by Sun readers makes a massive difference.”
