THE internet and Xboxes won’t stop 84 per cent of Brits playing a board game this Christmas — with Monopoly our No1.

The much-derided property-trading favourite was top choice for 31 per cent.

They were not put off by the average game taking several hours, with the record at 70 days.

Trivial Pursuit was second at 18 per cent and Scrabble third at 13.
