Harvey Weinstein ‘threatened to kill’ Salma Hayek and forced her to film nude scene after she refused his sexual advances
The actress, 51, also revealed she agreed to nude lesbian sex in 2002 film Frida when he threatened to axe it otherwise
TOP Hollywood star Salma Hayek has accused Harvey Weinstein of pestering her for sex — and threatening to kill her when she refused.
Hayek, 51, has joined a growing a list of actresses who have accused the disgraced producer of sexual harassment or assault.
And the star of Dusk Till Dawn and Desperado said he pestered her for nearly a decade.
"For years, he was my monster," Hayek wrote in .
Hayek, who regularly appeared in films released by Weinstein's Miramax in the 1990s, credited Weinstein with helping her start her career.
Her refusals of massages, showers and sex enraged him, she claims.
She said: "I don't think he hated anything more than the word 'no'.
“No to me taking a shower with him. No to letting him watch me shower.
“No to letting him give me a massage.
"No to letting a naked friend of his give me a massage. No to getting naked with another woman.”
The Mexican beauty claimed one refusal saw him spit: “I’ll kill you. Don’t think I can’t.”
She agreed to nude lesbian sex in 2002 film Frida when he threatened to axe it otherwise and reveals she "began to cry" and had a nervous breakdown when shooting the scenes.
"It was not because I would be naked with another woman," she said.
"It was because I would be naked with her for Harvey Weinstein."
She said Weinstein also pestered her when she worked for a rival studio.
The mogul, 65, accused by several women, denies any non-consensual sex.
In a statement through a spokesperson yesterday, Weinstein said the battles on Frida were "creative friction".
MORE ON THE WEINSTEIN SCANDAL
"All of the sexual allegations as portrayed by Salma are not accurate and others who witnessed the events have a different account of what transpired," said the statement.
"Mr Weinstein does not recall pressuring Salma to do a gratuitous sex scene with a female co-star and he was not there for the filming.
"However, that was part of the story, as Frida Kahlo was bisexual and the more significant sex scene in the movie was choreographed by Ms Hayek with Geoffrey Rush."
