What time is the EuroMillions draw tonight?

The EuroMillions draw will take place at 8.45pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

The results and Millionaire Maker code will be shown shortly after on the .

A full prize breakdown will also be displayed - showing the number of UK winners in each category and the corresponding prize.

You will also be able to view the total number of winners from all over Europe.

To check to see if you may have won a prize you can use the .

If you bought your ticket online, the Lottery will email you so there's no chance you'll miss your winning jackpot.

If you bought your ticket in a store, you can take it to any participating shop to get your numbers checked.

Players can watch the draw live on the National Lottery website.

How much is the EuroMillions jackpot?

Nine countries in Europe now participate in the game that gives people the opportunity to "live the kind of lifestyle usually reserved for the rich and famous".

Draws take place on Tuesday and Friday evenings - with a minimum guaranteed jackpot of €17million (around £14m), which can roll over up to €240million (£202m).

The jackpot for Tuesday, October 18, 2022, is a staggering £77million.

How many numbers do you need to win?

Players choose five numbers between 1-50 and two Lucky Star numbers between 1-12 – or can get a Lucky Dip for a random selection of numbers.

You can play up to 7 lines of numbers and buy up to 10 play slips at a time.

EuroMillions has a total of 13 prize tiers depending on how many numbers a player matches.

The prize values vary depending on ticket sales and the number of winners in each prize tier.

In order to win the jackpot, players need to match all five main numbers and both lucky star numbers.

While the jackpot is impressive, you don't need to get all five numbers and two lucky stars to win big - if you get just five main numbers the jackpot is still a big win.

The UK draw also includes the UK Millionaire Maker with a winning total of £1,000,000.

Your ticket will include a code and the holder will win the £1m prize if they match the winning code.

UK Millionaire Maker is an automatic draw too so comes with your ticket at no extra cost.

To participate in the EuroMillions Lotto,  tickets can be purchased from many outlets, namely at licensed stores and online websites - and entrants must be at least 18 years old.

In the event that the jackpot is not won -  it will roll over to the next draw and be added to the jackpot fund for the following draw.

If the jackpot reaches €240million, it will be capped and held at that level for a maximum of four draws - the top prize must then be won in the fifth draw at €240million.

Do you get anything for two numbers?

Out of the 13 prize tiers, the smallest is for those who match just two numbers.

You can win back approximately the price of your ticket with a double number match.

Players who get two of the main five numbers and no Lucky Star numbers can win an estimated £2.50.

Adding one Lucky Star to this will up the prize to around £3.60, while one main number and two Lucky Stars will bag you roughly £4.30.

If you manage to get two main numbers and two lucky stars you can get almost £10 back.
