Twisted ISIS thugs burn Syrian pilot to death in horrific footage as terror group faces oblivion
Azam Eid was captured by the evil terror group after parachuting clear of his aircraft, which was gunned down by ISIS jihadis
MERCILESS ISIS chiefs have burnt a Syrian pilot to death more than a year after he was captured.
Azam Eid was captured by the evil terror group after parachuting clear of his Syrian Arab Air Force MiG 2, which had been gunned down by ISIS jihadis.
More than a year later graphic footage has been released by ISIS commanders showing Mr Eid being burnt alive.
The horrifying footage shows the pilot wearing an orange boiler suit with a chain around his neck, which is held tightly by an ISIS thug.
He is tethered to a tree before the evil jihadis light his clothing in a horrific execution.
Mr Eid is the second pilot to be burnt alive, with ISIS chiefs saying the brutal method is revenge for the destruction that a plane’s bombs wreak on the ground.
The pilot's aircraft was shot down after taking off from Al Dumayr military airbase east of Damascus.
The Amaq news agency, which is affiliated to ISIS, said the captured pilot was from Hama.
Poor-quality video footage released at the time showed the remains of a burning aircraft, which is believed to have come down near Bir Al-Qassab.
In December 2014, ISIS shot down a warplane from the US-led coalition and captured the Jordanian pilot.
The terrorists later burned Maaz al-Kassasbeh alive in a cage and posted video footage of his death online.
ISIS is on the point of oblivion in Iraq and Syria.
The offensive on Mosul forced Isis out of its last strategic stronghold in the region, which it has dominated for more than three years.
