Portman, 36, said she had accepted a lift on the producer's plane believing the rest of his company would be on board.

But when she arrived, she realised it was just her and the producer, who she hasn't named, and "one bed made on the plane".

Portman told the "nothing happened" but she was left feeling uncomfortable by the experience.

She added: "That was really unacceptable and manipulative. I was scared.”

The Oscar-winning actress, who began acting her acting career aged just 13 in 1994 film Leon: The Professional, said people would comment on her body even as a child.

But she admitted normalising harassment and discrimination to the extent she didn't even realise it was happening.

Portman said: "I think my first reaction when I heard everybody coming out was, ‘Wow, I’m so lucky that I haven’t had this.’

"And then, on reflection, I was like, ‘OK, I definitely have never been assaulted. But I’ve had discrimination or harassment on almost everything I’ve ever worked on in some way.

"I went from thinking I don’t have a story to, ‘Oh wait, I have 100 stories'."

The Black Swan star, who has two children with French ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied, now believes the Weinstein scandal will change Hollywood.

The producer has been accused of sex abuse by more than 50 women, while claims of harassment have also been made against Kevin Spacey.

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick and Sylvester Stallone are among the A-listers forced to deny allegations against them.
