A MUM-OF-TWO has been swamped with death threats after begging cops to gun down a dog that was attacking her CAR.
Jessica Dilallo, 31, pleaded with a policeman in Georgia, US, to shoot the crazed pitbull as it tore apart a brand-new 4x4 to get to a pair of terrified kittens.
Shocking footage shows the beast attempting to rup the pristine bumper clean off before tearing chunks out of one of the tyres.
"We'll try to catch him before anyone gets hurt," reassures Lieutenant Matthew Locke, as one-year-old Red starts savaging the wheel arches.
DiLallo replies: "so when he finally gets to whatever he's going to we get to watch him destroy that as well?
"The cat gets to die, too? You don't think you should shoot him?”
A police spokesman said: "Lt. Locke decided not to try to pull the dog off himself because he didn’t want to be in a position where the dog attacked him and he was forced to shoot the dog."
Jessica has since been subjected to a torrent of vile death threats after her request to shoot Red outraged animal lovers.
She said: "I'm like the most hated person right now because I said I wanted to shoot the dog, but I still stand by that."
"When the cops came I was really adamant about getting that on camera because I was really disgusted at the way they acted and they were really rude to me."
"Some of the messages say they're going to come find me and shoot me; telling me that I'm white trash. It's insane.
Red's owner Ben Bonds agreed to pay for the damage to car, and was ordered to keep a closer eye on him in the future.
He said: "He's a good dog. He's not no mean dog. He's just a pup.
"I have great grand kids and grandkids, they play with him and my little great granddaughter hugs him and plays with him so he's not a mean dog. He loves people."
