MEGHAN Markle's celebrity chef ex has shared a video of cooking chickens - just hours after Prince Harry revealed he proposed over a roast.
Cory Vitiello posted a mouth watering clip of chickens roasting on a spit shortly after the smitten royal played down his own cooking abilities.
In the couple's first joint TV interview Meghan revealed the prince had got down on one knee as they roasted a chicken, before Prince Harry chimed in saying "trying to roast a chicken".
Chef Cory, who runs a chicken restaurant called Flock in Toronto, Canada, posted the clip on Instagram with the caption "never gets old".
He and Meghan are believed to have dated for two years before splitting in 2016 - the same year she was introduced to Prince Harry.
While Harry may not be as good in the kitchen, the royal managed to win Meghan's heart taking her camping in Botswana after just two dates.
After announcing their engagement on Monday the loved-up couple spoke of their whirlwind romance.
The smitten royal, 33, was revealed to have popped the question last month with a stunning ring he designed himself using two diamonds belonging to his late mother, Princess Diana.
Prince Harry told the BBC: "It happened a few weeks ago, earlier this month, here at our cottage; just a standard typical night for us."
Harry revealed how they had "hugs" after the proposal and he handed over the ring.
Prince Harry said: "She didn't even let me finish, she said 'can I say yes, can I say yes' and then were was hugs and I had the ring in my finger and I was like 'can I - can I give you the ring?' She goes - 'oh yes the ring'.
"So no it was - it was a really nice moment, it was just the two of us and I think managed to catch - catch her by surprise as well."
Meghan, 36, then explained the couple were having a "cosy night in", adding: "[We were] trying to roast a chicken and it just - just an amazing surprise, it was so sweet and natural and very romantic.
"He got on one knee."
Kensington Palace has announced that the couple will marry in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, in May.
