THIS is the sickening moment a tiny rat was doused in wine and set on FIRE for stealing a piece of bread.

Shocking footage, which The Sun has chosen not to show in full, shows a man in south-west China tying the rat to a mesh panel and forcing it to drink a bottle of Baijiu, a highly flammable, 50 per cent alcohol rice wine.

The twisted attacker, identified as 'Mr Shi', yells "look at you, not leaving a drop of wine to me, drink it up," as he pours the bottle over the rodent's head.

He then taunts the defenceless creature with a piece of bread, adding: "see you you ate the bread! Now I see how you like it with a bit of fire!"

He then uses a cigarette lighter to ignite the rat's fur, leaving it to burn to death.

As the rat burns, he turns the camera on himself and laughs "rats are vermin that everyone catch them and beat them."
