Paedo Jimmy Savile’s Scottish Highlands cottage where cops fear 20 people were abused lays empty three years after it sold for DOUBLE the asking price
MONSTER Jimmy Savile's remote Scottish cottage has been left to rot after it was sold at auction more than three years ago.
The depraved paedophile is believed to have abused up to 20 people inside his remote lair nestled in the Highlands.
He bought cottage Allt-na-reigh in 1998 from renowned Scottish mountaineer and founding member of the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team, Hamish MacInnes.
The disgraced DJ once entertained Prince Charles over dinner at the cottage and it was featured in notorious Louis Theroux documentary When Louis Met Jimmy.
It was sold three years ago to an unknown elderly couple for £212,000 - more than double the £100,000 asking price - but has since been left to rot.
The windows have all been boarded up except one that has been smashed in and it had to be white-washed after a local daubed 'Jimmy the beast' on it in the wake of the scandal.
Michael Buddle, who took pictures of the house of horrors, said: "Opinion is still divided as to the future of the cottage - whether to demolish, re-develop into a family home, or convert into a museum of mountaineering.
"I always knew the house was there and have driven past it several times but I made time to explore and document its current condition, rather than to just drive past as per normal.
"I didn't actually look inside although I wish I had now.
"The graffiti a few years ago was awful. It was a blight on such an idyllic landscape."
