MEGHAN Markle's ancestor was beheaded on the orders of Prince Harry's royal forebear Henry VIII, it has emerged.

He was the great-great-great-grandfather of Captain Christopher Hussey, who in the 1650s became the Founding Father of Nantucket upon leaving England.
A study, reported by has found that ten generations down the family line was Thomas Markle, who fathered Meghan, 35, with Doria Ragland in 1981.
