Mrs Maguire then came running out clutching her neck yelling "He stabbed me", an inquest heard.

The teacher stood "absolutely no chance whatsoever" when she was ambushed by 15-year-old Will Cornick at Corpus Christi Catholic College in Leeds, West Yorks, in April 2014.

In a statement read to Wakefield Coroners' Court, Ms Francis said: "Ann came out and she was holding the back of her neck, I thought there had been a swarm of wasps at first.

"She kept repeating, 'He has stabbed me in the neck'.

"I put her in the office and shut the door and put my foot against it. Will was stood at the other side of the door motionless.

"I just remember his face having no emotion on it, none at all.

"It was like a mask on his face, no emotion."

The teacher, who likened the horrific scenes to Armageddon, then called an ambulance, who raced to the school.

One medic told the inquest the stab wound inflicted on Mrs Maguire was the worst he had ever seen in his career.

Cornick, who had a "deep seated grudge" against Mrs Maguire, had boasted he would murder his teacher for £10 to pals on Facebook.

He plotted to kill head of year Andrew Kellett and wanted to kill science teacher Sinead Miley's unborn baby.

The teen had told pals what he was going to do on the day of the murder and even showed part of the "vicious looking" knife but the alarm wasn't raised.

Twisted Cornick had also pulled out a bottle of Jack Daniels whisky, which was alongside the kitchen knife in his red No Fear rucksack, and said "it’s like a party".

The court heard he then calmly got up from his seat in his 4th floor languages classroom, stabbed Mrs Maguire eight times, then returned to his seat "like nothing had happened".

After cops arrived, Cornick was chillingly calm and asked one officer if he had any ice for his hand, the inquest was told.

He then asked the cop what his "favourite movie" was, adding: "What is your favourite adrenaline sport because I love adrenaline sports?"

The court was told Cornick loved Cornick loved zombie movies - especially Zombieland - and would listen to heavy metal music.

On the day of the brutal stabbing, the evil teen had even told a group of up to six students he didn't think he would end up going to the prom, adding: "You'll probably get why in a few hours".

One girl told police he said: "I don't want to hurt her, I want to kill her."

Students revealed the teen had made threats to kill teachers before, but they had always thought he was joking.

One said: "We thought he was joking because he had always gone on about 'wouldn't it be funny if a train came through the window and hit her or a sniper shot her there and then'.

"He would say 'Wouldn't it be funny if she fell out of the windows' and stuff like that."

The inquest continues.
