Amir Khan reveals he is back with pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom in cosy Instagram snap
AMIR Khan has revealed he is back with pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom by posting a cute snap of the pair cuddling up together.
The boxer put the snap on Instagram today with the caption: “With my 4 month pregnant wife, after sorting out all the issues. Closing the year with a happy ending @faryalmakhdoom”.
The snap shows Khan with his arms wrapped around a smiling Faryal, who looks cosy in a jumper and festive leggings.
It comes just days after Faryal was spotted out and about in Bolton wearing her wedding ring for the first time since she became embroiled in a Twitter spat with Khan over the summer.
The pair were also seen earlier this week in a touching snap with their daughter, which began rumours they were back on.
She accompanied the picture with the words: “We’re going to be doing this all over again #ParentsLove #5MonthsToGo”.
Faryal and Amir split up earlier this year in a string of explosive tweets in which Khan accused his wife of cheating on him with fellow boxing star Anthony Joshua.
She had hit out at the former light-welterweight world champion, claiming he had repeatedly slept with other women during their four-year marriage, writing: “After all these years. I’ve always defending a cheat, always stuck around for him, always had his back.”
But in September, Khan shattered her hopes of resurrecting their marriage as he confirmed they are still getting a divorce.
Faryal had said she wanted to get back together for the sake of their unborn child and apologised to her in-laws for their bitter war of words.
But boxing champ Khan tweeted hours later: “Unfortunately it didn’t work out between Me and Faryal and we are still going ahead with the divorce. We are in good talking terms.
“We have to think about our daughter Lamaisah who I will always be there for. I wish Faryal all the very best for the future.”
She has previously told Khan that she will move back to New York with their daughter if he files for divorce.
