AN Oscar-winning actress has accused a magazine of airbrushing her after she appeared on their cover.
Lupita Nyong'o also made allegations against disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, but what else do we know about her?
Who is Lupita Nyong'o?
She was born in Mexico to Kenyan parents and grew up in Kenya.
She went to college in the US and began her career in Hollywood as a production assistant.
The 34-year-old won an Academy Award for her first feature film role in 12 Years A Slave.
Why has the actress criticised Grazia of airbrushing her?
She said part of her hair was removed for the front cover of the November Grazia.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the Oscar-winning actress said: "I embrace my natural heritage and despite having grown up thinking light skin and straight, silky hair were the standards of beauty, I now know that my dark skin and kinky, coily hair are beautiful too."
She added she was "disappointed" her hairstyle appeared to have been changed, as she posted an original image which included hair not seen in the final image.
A spokeswoman issued a statement on behalf of Grazia UK which said: "Grazia is committed to representing diversity throughout its pages and apologises unreservedly to Lupita Nyong’o.
"Grazia magazine would like to make it clear that at no point did they make any editorial request to the photographer for Lupita Nyong'o’s hair to be altered on this week’s cover, nor did we alter it ourselves.
"But we apologise unreservedly for not upholding the highest of editorial standards in ensuring that that we were aware of all alterations that had been made."
What were her Harvey Weinstein allegations?
The 12 Years A Slave star said the disgraced movie mogul lured her to his bedroom under false pretences and "pressured" her into massaging him.
Lupita, writing in the , said she was a drama school student when he invited her to watch a film at his family home in Connecticut, after they met in 2011.
She said he wanted to take off his trousers but she became uncomfortable and left.
Weinstein denied this in a statement which said: "Mr. Weinstein has a different recollection of events, but believes Lupita is a brilliant actress and a major force for the industry."
An array of film stars have emerged, after a series of bombshell investigations published by and , to accuse the Oscar-winning producer of improper sexual advances.
A spokesperson for him has said of the allegations made on the record that Weinstein "believes that all of these relationships were consensual" and "any allegations of nonconsensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein".
