OJ Simpson ‘kicked out of Vegas hotel for being drunk and disruptive’… just one month after his release from prison
OJ Simpson was kicked out of a Las Vegas hotel after a drunken bar-room scuffle, it was claimed.
The Juice, 70, was ejected from the Cosmopolitan Hotel allegedly breaking glasses at the luxury venue’s Clique bar
Simpson was said to have got angry at staff at about midnight on Wednesday, prompting security guards to respond and remove him from the hotel.
The recently released ex-NFL star was cordial to security, but he has since been permanently banned from the hotel, sources claimed.
A police dispatcher, referring to Simpson by his full first name said “Orenthal is here” in an audio recording obtained by US website which reported he had become “drunk and disruptive.”
The dispatcher apparently had thought Simpson was at a pizza shop inside the hotel, before adding: “He’s actually sitting inside the bar, he was asking about the pizza shop.”
Eyewitnesses spotted Simpson inside the hotel shortly after midnight.
Attorney Malcolm LaVergne on Thursday told The Associated Press that Simpson received a trespass notice from the hotel Wednesday.
He denied that Simpson was intoxicated or belligerent while at the Las Vegas Strip property.
LaVergne says Simpson was not given a reason for the ban.
He says Simpson contacted his parole officer the next day and underwent drug and alcohol tests, which were negative.
The hotel in a statement says it does not comment on it guests.
Simpson was only released from prison on October 1 after serving nine years of a 33-year sentence for robbing sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2007.
He will remain under supervised parole for five years.
The former actor was acquitted of the double-murder of his ex-girlfriend Nicole Brown and her pal Ron Goldman in 1995.
