LEGENDARY Bond girl Karen Dor - who starred alongside Sean Connery in You Only Live Twice - has passed away at home in Germany.
Dor played the beautiful red-haired villain Helga Brandt who is seduced by Connery's James Bond in the 1967 film.
Her character is later dropped into her boss Blofeld's pool of piranhas as punishment for failing to kill Bond.
Dor passed away at a nursing home in Munich aged 79, her son told newspaper.
She also starred in the Alfred Hitchcock movie Topaz, having initially found fame in Germany for acting in dozens of German films throughout the 1950s and 60s.
Bild reported Dor passed away after suffering a heavy fall last year from which she was unable to recover.
Dor also starred in US TV productions, as well as theatre plays during a career that began when she was 17.
She was married three times, most recently to American stuntman and actor George Robotham, who died in 2007.
