Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick rape allegations being investigated by LAPD after actress Kristina Cohen accused him in Facebook post
ALLEGATIONS of rape made against British actor Ed Westwick are being investigated by the LAPD.
Actress Kristina Cohen has filed a police report at LAPD's Hollywood precinct after making the allegations against the Hertfordshire-born Gossip Girl star on Facebook.
Cops are now investigating a claim that the “suspect forced victim to have sexual intercourse inside his residence ... three years ago".
A spokesman for the LAPD confirmed to Sun Online they were investigating claims against Westwick made by Cohen.
Westwick has denied the unsubstantiated allegations on his Instagram and Twitter accounts claiming he does not know the actress.
The Brit star's statement reads: "I do not know this woman. I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.”
Cohen, 27, from Los Angeles, California, claims she visited the actor’s house with her former boyfriend who she refers to as “the producer” in the social media post.
The actress says she felt uncomfortable in Westwick’s company and claims she tried to leave, but was told to rest in the guest bedroom.
After falling asleep, the actress alleges that she woke up with the star on top of her.
Cohen, who has had bit parts in hit TV shows such as The Middle and Californication, then claims Westwick held her down and raped her.
Her post reads: “So I went and laid down in the guest room where I eventually fell asleep, I was woken up abruptly by Ed on top of me.
“I told him to stop, but he was strong.
“I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f*** me.
“I was paralysed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me.”
Cohen also accuses her unnamed ex-boyfriend of putting the “blame on me” branding her an “active participant” in the alleged attack.
The actress says “the producer” said she “could forget about an acting career.”
The Sun Online has contacted the Brit actor's lawyer for a comment on the allegations.
Westwick, who is currently starring in White Gold on BBC Two, first found fame as spoilt New Yorker Chuck Bass in US series Gossip Girl.
The British actor is currently dating former America's Next Top Model contestant Jessica Serfaty.
Cohen's post comes in the wake of the sexual abuse allegations made against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and Oscar winning actor Kevin Spacey.
