Amir Khan’s estranged wife Faryal Makhdoom dons wedding dress in defiant Instagram post after boxer was spotted on night out with woman
AMIR Khan’s estranged wife donned a wedding dress as she vowed to “find peace” in a defiant Instagram post after he was spotted on a night out with a woman.
Faryal Makhdoom, who is three months pregnant, posted a snap from a photoshoot earlier this week where she posed in an array of stunning, traditional Pakistani gowns.
The 26-year-old, who split from her boxer husband earlier this year, wrote: “One day, you will find peace in the burning of the past.”
The message is a quote from popular internet writer R.M Drake, while the picture shows the mum-to-be in an ornate pink outfit, as she dripped in expensive jewellery.
It comes after Khan was snapped enjoying a night out in London with his female companion – believed to be Brazilian model Bella Gusmao – who was holding a red rose.
The pair were seen outside a shisha bar as they hailed a taxi before jumping in a black cab together a few minutes later.
Khan split with Faryal Makhdoom earlier this year in a string of explosive tweets in which the former champ accused his wife of cheating on him with fellow boxing star Anthony Joshua.
She hit back at him, claiming he repeatedly slept with other women during their four-year marriage.
Faryal wrote: “After all these years. I’ve always defending a cheat, always stuck around for him, always had his back.”
But in September, Khan shattered her hopes of resurrecting their marriage as he confirmed they are still getting a divorce.
She broke her silence earlier this week for the first time since the split, where she revealed she plans to raise her and Amir’s three-year-old daughter Lamaisah to be “independent and strong”.
Faryal had said she wanted to get back together for the sake of their unborn child and apologised to her in-laws for their bitter war of words.
But Khan tweeted hours later: “Unfortunately it didn’t work out between Me and Faryal and we are still going ahead with the divorce. We are in good talking terms.
“We have to think about our daughter Lamaisah who I will always be there for. I wish Faryal all the very best for the future.”
She has previously told Khan that she will move back to New York with their daughter if he files for divorce.
