BOSSES of some top academies are earning more than £200,000 a year, it emerged last night.
One rakes in almost three times as much as PM Theresa May.
Almost a fifth of the best-paid at 121 school trusts are trousering £21million between them.
Sir Dan Moynihan, head of the London-based Harris Federation which runs schools across the capital, takes home between £420,000 and £425,000, not counting his pension. The Prime Minister is paid about £150,000.
A Harris spokeswoman said: “Sir Dan’s salary is published each year in the accounts.
“He leads a federation of 44 successful academies, which employs 4,400 staff and educates 32,000 children in and around London. The majority of Harris academies are rated Outstanding — many of which joined because they were failing.”
