YOU'LL be stunned to learn which kids' TV legend painted this stunning riverside scene that is tipped to sell for £2k.
The accomplished work depicts a narrow boat moored up on a country canal with a woman sat on the bank taking in a quintessentially English view.
The idyllic painting is signed in the upper left by the artist Timmy Mallett, who is better known as a 1980s television presenter.
He was famous for his colourful glasses and loud clothes.
On his TV show 'Wacaday' he played a word association game called Mallett's Mallet where a child contestant would get hit on the head with a soft oversized mallet if they hesitated in answering.
Mallett is also a talented artist who regularly sells in galleries.
In 2002, he painted 50 portraits for the Queen's Jubilee including of Wendy Craig, Jim Rosenthal, Lorraine Kelly, Ulrika Jonsson and Sir Clive Woodward.
Ten years later he was commissioned to paint a telephone box in Windsor with a likenesses of the Queen.
The canal painting, a 30ins by 20ins work called By the Bridge, is owned by a private collector.
It is being sold by auctioneers Wright Marshall of Knutsford, Cheshire, in a timed auction that ends tomorrow.
