A LABOUR council has been blasted for throwing a Halloween fancy dress party for jobless parents and their kids.
Flyers given to primary schools and through letterboxes made it clear who was invited.
One Hull woman moaned: “I had to tell my son he couldn’t go as Mummy and Daddy work.
“He said, ‘Stop working. It’s not fair’. What work ethic does it show kids?”
Another said: “All kids should be treated alike for these things.”
