THIS is the shocking moment a suited man hurled racist abuse at a fellow Tube passenger - screaming: 'I'm on my way to Romford... where are you from you foreign c***?'
Passengers watched on in horror at the foul-mouthed tirade on the Jubilee Line near West Ham station on Tuesday night.
The ranting passenger appeared to headbutt and punch a plastic partition as witnesses attempted to calm him down.
Brave Good Samaritans managed to keep him away from the victim of the xenophobic outburst before the abusive passenger was shepherded off the train at around 11pm.
A 21-year-old witness, who was travelling back from a Metallica concert at the o2 Arena, captured the incident on his mobile phone.
He said: "I was on my way home and had my headphones in, so I didn’t hear how it all started.
"This suited-up guy was calling another man a foreign c*** and screaming at him.
"There were a few people near him trying to calm down the situation and get him away but he was hitting the glass and being extremely threatening.
"It was disgusting behaviour but luckily other people on the Tube were there to protect the victim and let him know his words weren't acceptable."
In the 90-second video, one passenger is seen telling the man "don't punch the window" and urging him to sit down as he appears to hit and headbutt the screen.
The raging commuter then shouts at the victim he's travelling to Romford, East London, before screaming "where are you from you foreign c***? F*** off."
Fellow passengers repeatedly tell the man to "shut up" and "sit down".
The man continues his rant, calling the victim a "f***ing idiot" and shouting "come on, come on you little c***".
After punching the screen again, he asks "what's his f***ing problem?"
Moments before being ushered off the train, the foul-mouthed passenger shouted: "W*****, w*****, you're a w*****, you're a f****** w*****."
British Transport Police has said it is investigating.
A spokesman said: "Abuse such as this will never be tolerated on the rail network and we aware of this footage and are in the process of making enquiries.
"Anyone who was on board this train and witnessed what happened, please contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 334 of 26/10/2017. Alternatively, ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
