Scot Tory leader Ruth Davidson to appear in charity Bake Off special alongside Jamie Laing and Lottie Moss
Celebrities will take part in a special episode of The Great British Bake Off next year in aid of Stand Up To Cancer
SCOTTISH Tory leader Ruth Davidson is to take part in a celebrity charity episode of the Great British Bake Off.
The Edinburgh MP, 38, was previously a guest on the BBC spin-off An Extra Slice.
She will bake for Stand Up To Cancer in the show on Channel 4 next year. Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and Kate Moss’s sister Lottie are tipped to appear too.
In last year’s semi-finals she joined presenter Jo Brand and previous champion Nadiya Hussein on a guest panel to discuss the hit show.
But this will be first time she will be donning a pinny herself to bake in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
The celebrity version of the show is due to air next year.
Previous political figures on the Great British Bake Off include Ed Balls and the former PM’s wife Samantha Cameron.
A spokeswoman for Channel 4 declined to comment on the line up.
