A HILARIOUS video shows cons inside a prison wagon shaking the street as they chant: "Here we f***ing go!"
The prisoners appear to be banging the sides and floor of the vehicle, creating a deafening racket.
The clip was shot by a motorist in Glasgow and uploaded with the caption: "Troops away to the jail no giving a f***."
Since then it has been shared on various Scottish Facebook groups - attracting over 100,000 views.
The large, G4S van was filmed in the city's Castle Street yesterday. The prisoners, who are usually locked inside individual cells inside the wagon, keep up a steady beat as bemused motorists look on.
Hundreds of social media users have taken to the video to share their hilarity over the clip.
Jordan Clayton-Nelson, from New Zealand but living in Brisbane, Australia, wrote: “Are you people capable of NOT raving???”
Davie Murphy wrote: “Some folk have just got no shame at all.”
In 2010 an inmate being taken from Addiewell Prison, West Lothian, to Shotts Prison, North Lanarkshire, escaped from a Reliance prison van when it was stopped at traffic lights.
The man ran off into fields near Breich, West Lothian and was on the run for 15 minutes before being captured by police.
The Scottish Government said the impromptu rave was a matter for the Scottish Prison Service (SPS).
A spokeswoman for the SPS said it was not something they would comment on as "it happens every day".
