Harvey Weinstein accused of grabbing Smurfs actress Erika Rosenbaum by the neck then pleasuring himself while staring straight into her eyes
A CANADIAN actress has become the latest performer to accuse Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault.
Erika Rosenbaum, who starred in Smurfs 2, claims the Hollywood mogul looked her in the eye as he pleasured himself almost 15 years ago.
She said it was one of three improper approaches Weinstein made towards her after she moved to LA from Montreal.
In the most harrowing claim, Rosenbaum told the producer grabbed her by the neck in front of a mirror while touching himself.
She added: "He did that while looking me right in the eye."
Rosenbaum had met the producer in her early 20s in a hotel after he said he wanted to discuss her career.
She said: "I suddenly found myself fending him off, as though we were on a first date and he was making unwanted advances."
Eventually, she agreed to give him a massage as he had the ability to destroy her career.
The actress continued: "'In a surreal scene from a bad movie, I massaged his back and then he let me go. I walked away confused and ashamed."
Two years later, Rosenbaum claimed she met the millionaire in another hotel room in Toronto where he apparently answered the door not wearing any pants.
But she was afraid to get on the powerful producer's wrong side, so she agreed to a third meeting in New York where Weinstein apparently tried to kiss her.
She said: "I really feel for all who've had this experience. It is very confusing and it can be very damaging."
Rosenbaum is the latest in a long-line of celebrities who have accused Weinstein of sexual assault and harassment.
Up to 30 women have so far come forward to accuse Weinstein of sex crimes - including three rape allegations.
Among the A-listers are Kate Beckinsale, who revealed how Weinstein targeted her in London when she was just 17, and, Ashley Judd Angelina Jolie.
Brit model Cara Delevingne has also made claims, while Rose McGowan alleged the producer raped her.
Weinstein, whose wife Georgina Chapman has left him, has now flown to Europe to attend rehab for a sex addiction.
"Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein," Weinstein's representative Sallie Hofmeister said yesterday.
