A SPEEDING driver who called himself The Stig knocked down and killed a nine-year-old boy.
Atif Dayaji, 27, was racing at up to 69mph in a 30mph zone in a powerful BMW he hired for a family wedding.
He hit Adam Limbada as he crossed the road with such force it threw him in the air — watched by his horrified dad.
Dayaji, who styled himself after the Top Gear racing star on social media, said he was doing 40mph last August.
But an accident investigation showed the BMW was travelling at 67mph.
Dayaji, of Blackburn, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. He was jailed for four years yesterday at Preston crown court.
Adam’s family said: “Losing Adam has left us completely lost and life will never be the same.”
