What allegedly happened with Zoe and Weinstein in 1997?
Zoe claims she was tricked into coming back to Harvey Weinstein’s hotel room after a night out during the Cannes Film Festival in 1997.
His friends made excuses to leave one by one, leaving their pair alone, she wrote on Medium.
Zoe said: “My body went into high alert. I was drunk, young, miles from home, without cash to get a cab, and no cell phone.”
The then 23-year-old alleged that Weinstein left the room before re-emerging naked and asking to massage her.
She said she had to lock herself in a hotel bathroom to escape the producer’s advances.
Zoe wrote: “I shrugged Harvey’s hands off me, ran into the bathroom and locked the door.
“Harvey chased me, d**k, b***s and all, and banged on the door with his fists, pleading with me to come out.”
The young model claimed she told him she was uncomfortable and angry, and told him off like a child, saying: “This is unacceptable. Put your clothes on you naughty, naughty boy.”
She claimed she eventually left the room and escaped “physically unscathed” but was left “furious” by the incident.
