Kate Middleton looks radiant as she shows off a hint of baby bump in her first public appearance since announcing her third pregnancy
A GLOWING Kate Middleton has made her first public appearance since announcing her third pregnancy.
The Duchess of Cambridge showed off a hint of a baby bump as she graced Buckingham Palace guests in an elegant blue Temperley dress.
The mother-to-be braved severe hyperemesis gravidarum, which has plagued her three previous pregnancies, to attend the reception for mental health campaigners.
At the start of September, she missed Prince George's first day of school because of the severity of condition, but an aide confirmed her condition is now improving.
The Duchess charmed guests in the Palace reception, looking relaxed and at ease as she arrived with husband Prince William and Prince Harry.
As Kate greeted the Palace guests, her slight baby bump could be seen beneath her elegant lace dress, which swayed as she and her husband entered the reception through the Palace's White drawing room.
Although Kate, believed to be less than 12 weeks pregnant, she attended the reception to honour mental health campaigners.
But she may not be resuming full royal duties, according to reports.
A royal aide said: "The Duchess' condition is improving but she's still suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. She's delighted to be here tonight."
Kensington Palace announced on September 4 that Kate was expecting her third child.
The 35-year-old has not been seen since she joined the Duke and Harry to mark the 20th anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.
Kensington Palace named the Duchess, alongside husband William and Prince Harry, as the royal hosts of a palace reception celebrating mental health workers.

The evening event - being held to mark World Mental Health Day - will recognise the progress, hard work and dedication of those determined to raise awareness of mental health issues.
William, Kate and Harry have supported the issue with their Heads Together mental health campaign that has been encouraging people to speak out about their psychological problems or be a sympathetic ear for others.
William and Harry hosted the reception to celebrate the impact of their Heads Together campaign, and to thank all those who played a key role in its success.
Around 350 guests will include a number of the Heads Together runners who took part in the London marathon, people who shared their mental health stories in the campaign's video series, representatives from the initiative's charity partners, with the Duke and Prince delivering speeches.
Harry the top dog...
HARRY got a big thank you for his mental health campaigning efforts when two-year-old labrador retriever Cooper licked him and gave him his paw.
He and William had been hosting an earlier reception at St James’s Palace to thank those involved in their Heads Together campaign.
They announced they will be expanding the drive into schools and workplaces.
