The jihadists are seen lining up with their legs spread apart as an instructor moves along the line kicking them in the genitals in an apparent display of their ability to endure pain.

The men are also seen doing more conventional military exercises like target practice, assault courses and firing rocket-propelled grenades.

The photos were taken at the terror group's Sheikh Abu Muhammad Al-Adnani training camp in Yemen.

It is named for the chief ISIS propagandist who was announced killed in August 2016.

ISIS claims to have started a branch in Yemen in November 2014.

On 6 October 2015, ISIS militants conducted a series of suicide bombings in Aden that killed 15 soldiers affiliated with the Hadi government and the Saudi-led coalition.

A brutal civil war has been raging in Yemen for over two years and the conflict has claimed over 16,000 lives.

The Saudi-backed government is facing an insurrection from the Houthi movement, which champions Yemen's minority Shia community.

The Houthi's are backed by Iran, which is predominately Shia, with many describing the conflict as a proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia - the leading powers of the two differing interpretations of Islam.

A total of 18 Yemeni rebels were killed in fighting around the Saudi border over the past 24 hours, Yemeni army officers said today.

Clashes flared this week around the Red Sea port of Midi and the nearby Saudi border town of Huthaira, spilling over into the rebel heartland of Saada inland.

ISIS has used the sectarian strife in the nation to attract recruits.

There are active ISIS affiliates in Libya, Egypt, Afghanistan, Nigeria and the Philippines.
