THIS is the moment a rising British rapper kicks a fan out of a packed show for making sexist remarks.
Loyle Carner interrupted his gig at the University of East Anglia to scold the male audience member who is alleged to have shouted “you have big t*ts” at the female singer of his support act Elisa And Srigala.
In a video he is filmed saying: “I tell you what though, there’s one thing I do have to say before I move on.
“I was sat back there with DJ Rebel Clef and we heard a rumour that there were a couple of people in the crowd shouting sexist things at the support act.
“How do we feel about that?
“I don’t know who it was.”
After members of the crowd appear to point out the offender Carner continues: “Was it this guy right here? You need to get the f*** out.
“No joke. If the security guards can see you take him out. No sexism in this show my friend.
“Get the f*** out of here. Get the f*** out of here.
“I’m sorry man you’ve got to learn your lesson young man. Carhart shirt with the black hat you’ve got to go for being sexist.”
After the gig on Sunday night Carner quoted a fan’s tweet and wrote: "That s*** will not be tolerated at any show. He’s been banned from that venue, for life."
In an Instagram post Elisa and Srigala hailed Carner, 23.
They wrote: "Yes yes Loyle Carner for confronting him, yes yes audience for exposing who it was in the crowd and yes yes UEA for removing him and challenging him about his behaviour."
Former Brits School student Carner was also applauded for his actions on social media with one fan claiming it "was actually one of the best things I’ve seen" and another said "best start to a show I’ve ever seen hands down".
The Student Union at the UEA said it would not comment on the allegations but confirmed an internal investigation is underway into the incident.
A spokesperson said "Whilst we can’t comment on investigations into ongoing cases, we can confirm that we continue to operate a zero tolerance approach to sexual harassment in our venues.
"It’s crucial that our customers know that when we find evidence of our policies being breached, we’ll take action."
The gig on Sunday night was part of the musicians Yesterday’s Gone Tour which has seen him play venues across the UK.
The album of the same named was nominated for the 2017 Mercury Prize alongside the likes of Ed Sheeran, Alt-J and Blossoms but he lost out to eventual winner Sampha.
