Top British ISIS recruiter is a convicted sex offender who would be flogged in public for his crimes
ISLAMIC State's top British recruiting sergeant is a convicted sex offender - whose crimes should see him publicly flogged under the extremist regime's rules.
Former supermarket worker Omar Hussain – who is often pictured with young girls in Syria – was found guilty of groping a woman’s breasts in the UK eight years ago.
The perv cycled up to his victim in High Wycombe, Bucks. and groped her before escaping, but the attack was captured on CCTV.
He was still on the Sex Offenders’ Register when he fled to Syria in 2013 claiming he was going to help aid convoys.
Hussain — who has not posted any of his rantings online for months and could have been killed — has appeared in a string of videos denouncing the UK and published dozens of articles urging Brit extremists to join ISIS.
He claims to live his life by strict Sharia law and has condemned such "evil" acts as masturbation, adultery and homosexuality.
But his crime of indecent assault would carry a punishment of 100 lashes in public under the murderous regime.
Revelations of his sex offence come after terror experts claimed ISIS is actively trying to recruit perverts, rapists and paedophiles with the promise of sex slaves.
Men with a history of sexual violence and domestic abuse are believed to have joined the jihadi group because of the organisation’s use of rape and slavery as a form of terrorism.
In April a schoolgirl bravely recalled the horror of being kidnapped by ISIS fanatics and raped daily for six months.
Hussain, a former Morrisons security guard, has tried to lure Brit doctors out to Syria to help treat injured fighters and has published detailed guides on how to travel to the war-torn region.
Hussain – who now goes by Abu Sa’eed al-Britani – also warned women travelling to the Middle East from the UK – called hijrah - that the brave mujahedeen they’ve been chatting to on social media about marriage might be nothing more than keyboard warriors.
He said: “There seems to be a rise in many sisters doing hijrah after having links with people in Sham who are on Twitter.
"This is good if their links are other sisters. However, many sisters tend to marry brothers they may have interacted with over the net.
“For example, I personally know of a brother who ran away from the front line when it was only me and him defending a post.
“The ironic thing here was that the brother went online the next day and praised how Dawlah managed to defend an onslaught by the enemy, and how people in the west need to "stop being cowards".
The jihadi first joined the Al Qaeda affiliated group Jabhat al-Nusra in Syria before switching to the more popular ISIS after just four months.
Hussain first came to prominence when he appeared in a ISIS propaganda video, urging the West to send troops to fight ISIS, vowing: "We'll send them back one by one in coffins."
