A DOG walker was left fighting for life after being trampled by a cow which broke through a fence.

A farmer called an ambulance and she was taken to hospital and put in resuscitation.
Teaching assistant Lianne was attacked on Thursday as she walked on a public footpath near kennels on the outskirts of Darlington.
Her son Brad, 23, said: “She is still in hospital and will remain there for the days to come.
“The walkway is the one that everyone uses when they walk their dogs.
“I have used it for the last four years and I have never had any trouble with the cows in the fields.”
The National Farmers’ Union warned that cattle attacks were more common than many people realise.
Last year mother-of-three Marian Clode died after being flipped like a rag doll over a fence in Northumberland.
A farmer suffered head, back, neck and chest injuries after being kicked in Cockfield, County Durham.
The NFU advises dog owners to keep their pets on a short lead when near cattle, and not to panic or run if followed by them.
The union adds: “If you are threatened by cattle release your dog so you can both get to safety separately.”
