More than 180,000 comic book and superhero fans have descended on New York for Comic Con 2017
SUPERHERO fans are putting on a colourful display at Comic Con in New York this week — wearing outfits as racy as they are wacky.
Thousands have descended on the city this week dressed as their favourite blockbuster characters, and many aren’t afraid of showing a bit of skin.

Batman character Harley Quinn was among the favourites — as well as Wonder Woman and Game Of Thrones starlets.
Among the lineup of A-listers appearing at the convention is Dr Who star Peter Capaldi and Felicity Jones from Star Wars.
New York Comic Con attracted over 185,000 fans in 2016 — easily making it the biggest pop culture gathering on the US East Coast.
And even more are expected to pass through its doors at the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan by the time this year’s gathering ends on 8 October.
