RACE RANT

Las Vegas shooting – Rapper Lil B sparks outrage by claiming people are more upset about America’s worst gun massacre because victims were mainly white

RAPPER Lil B has claimed that people wouldn’t care if 50 young black people were gunned down at a concert following the Las Vegas massacre.

The performer sparked outrage with a series of comments about race just a few hours after news broke of America’s worst mass shooting where 59 were slaughtered and 527 wounded.

In one tweet Lil B said: “I no [sic] if 50 young black man died at a rap concert with saggy pants and dreadlocks nobody would even care! They say it’s gang violence - Lil B.”

He then followed this by tweeting: “Let’s play court of public opinion! 50 people get shot at a rap concert is that normal?

“50 people shot at a country music show? What?”

From pictures taken at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival many people attending were white, although there were also others who weren’t.

Lil B then fired off several more tweets.

In one he said: “Young dolph getting shot in LA is just as bad as all these 50 people who got killed and 200 plus injured no violence is OK love u - Lil B.”

Thereafter Lil B launched into a Twitter rant about injustices committed against black people in the past and present and blamed white people for violence, which he condemned.

While some people agreed with some of his points, others thought it was bad timing.

Max B In My Top 5 said: “There's some truth to this but people just died have to compassion and respect breh.”

But later on it appears Lil B was sorry for his earlier tweets.

He tweeted: "I’m so damn ashamed of myself I want to cry nobody deserves to be hurt! We loose anyone we loose all! Pray for Las Vegas."
